Negative Sentences

“There is not...who doesn’t...”

Negative particles (否定语气词) are used to express the negation of an action, feature, or phenomenon.

We use both 未 and 勿 to make a negation. However their usage is slightly different.

A negative sentence (否定句) is constructed by adding a negative particle before the predicate.

Negation can be doubled in Mandarin Chinese to emphasize a negation with more emotional coloring. You can form a double negation using the following structures.
